Did you hear about the Big Hack at Big Tech?
The toll at Amazon, Apple and Facebook was 26 million logins, with 3.25 million users having personal payment details stolen.
Oh, and that’s between 2018 and 2020. We’re just finding out about it now.
So what would you like to know about it?
You’d probably like to know if you were victimized by the hack. But you haven’t been notified – one to three years later. Neither has the mystery malware been identified.
The pilfered login credentials are used for eBay, Google, Instagram, Netflix, Paypal, Roblox, Steam, Twitch and Twitter.
The breached database also contains 2 billion session cookies, or online footprints hackers use to view their targets’ behaviors and habits on their computers.
How was the hack discovered? Through the work of a major “cybersecurity” provider, Nordlocker. The company explained that, after infecting its host computers, the malware took screenshots using their webcams and assigned unique IDs to each set of stolen data to sort it according to where it came from.
I guess you could feel better about this because the U.S. Department of Justice now is going to investigate cyberattacks on the same level as it devotes to terrorism, which is one degree lesser than white supremacy.
What am I getting at? I am getting at the fact that having your personal data stolen is a particular risk of trusting Big Tech.
Let’s discuss what the other risks are:
- We’ve lost freedom of speech in America. We have laws against abridging free speech, but good luck getting the government to protect it.
- Freedom of the press is gone, too.
- Freedom of religion is endangered.
- We saw how Big Tech helped steal the election out from under us. Why did they participate? Because they hated Donald Trump. That’s all it took for them to deny your voting rights. They knew better.
I would say that’s pretty risky. The Tech Tyrants need to be stopped – or else America will be stopped, permanently.
But, yet, we all like to be entertained by the Masters of the Universe. Can we, can you, live without it? They’re betting you can’t.
I’m betting you can – and will.
I probably promised too much 25 years ago when I said I was giving you the first independent online news service. “A Free Press for a Free People” was WND’s promise. It was true for a while – till they came for me. Then they took away the audience, lied about us and denied we operated in the truth.
Now they have brought us to our knees – but we’ve still got some fight in us.
