Apocalyptic earthquake this year? 11 end-time signs

By Richard Ruhling

“God won’t do anything without revealing it,” and this includes the apocalytptic earthquake encoded as a lion’s roar in Amos 3:7, 8.

The lion’s roar is what happens when Muslims take Jerusalem and celebrate their mosque and Quran that says, “Allah has no Son.” Suddenly, “the Lord shall roar from Jerusalem … the heavens and earth shall shake” (Joel 3:16). How we get there is a biblical sequence, but first, consider these 11 signs.

1. What about ongoing California storms? Christ ended His famous Sermon on the Mount with a parable, a storm that destroyed the foolish man’s house who built on the sand but spared the wise man’s house built on the rock. Physical truth has spiritual meaning, like a solid foundation of Scripture for what we do. Unprecedented storms signal impending judgment in Matthew 7:24-27. Watch this video about the California storms and earthquake.

2. With news that Iran has enough uranium for a bomb, Israel is forced to a preemptive strike to destroy Tehran’s ability to make and deliver it. Passover is the time of judgment two weeks after the new moon that initiates the new year in spring (Exodus 12:2). Israel is likely to act before Passover (April 5 to 13) when we expect No. 3.

3. Muslims will retaliate. President Erdogan of Turkey has appealed for 57 Muslim nations to siege Israel. He said Jerusalem is their city – it was part of the Ottoman Empire that ended in 1922 – time to start over. It’s also prophetic: “The day of the Lord comes … nations will be gathered against Jerusalem” (Zechariah 14:1, 2).

4. “The day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night, for when they shall say ‘Peace and safety,’ sudden destruction comes (1 Thessalonians 5: 1-3). The Iran nuclear treaty in 2015 was Obama’s “peace and safety” talk.

5. Four other signs in 2015 were an eight-year warning – like the one Joseph gave to pharaoh, that there would be seven years of plenty before seven years of famine. That implies trouble in the eighth year. In 2015 we saw bad signs like the pope speaking to Congress, same-sex marriage approval in the Supreme Court, Obama’s nuclear treaty with Iran.

The good years began in 2016 with Donald Trump’s election, and the seventh year ends with 2022 – biblically it ends as spring of 2023 begins. God told Moses that the New Moon (chodesh, thin crescent) in the spring is the first month of the year in Exodus 12:2. God was not following the Gregorian calendar. It’s the month of Abib (green barley ears) that began after the equinox – and God mentioned the Passover lamb also in Exodus 12:2, 3.

6. The year 2015 began with a rare solar eclipse on the equinox. It was a sign that only God could give, then came:

7. A blood moon on Passover (Joel 2:31), signaling the Jewish time of judgment.

8. Christ warned of an abomination spoken of by Daniel. Early Christians understood this as a warning about Rome, and when the Roman army came to Jerusalem they fled the city. In 2015, there was a military drill to take guns in Texas as a test of Second Amendment rights.

9. Christians today understand that the new definition of marriage is also an abomination – and it was “standing where it ought not” (Mark 13:14) in the Supreme Court, 2015.

10. The pope came to Congress like the holy place in Matthew 24:15 because the law was in the holy place in Jerusalem, and the pope came to where the laws were made, in 2015. He was promoting his Laudato Si’ to close businesses on Sunday to reduce greenhouse gas, and the benefits of the Eucharist – but “Congress shall make no laws respecting the establishment of religion.”

11. The devil studies Scripture and he knows what is coming. Muslims consider the U.S. as the Great Satan because it has exported every type of sin throughout the world. Hollywood also gave us a warning in the movie “Outbreak,” which came 15 years before COVID. The “San Andreas” movie, released in 2015, was a seven-year warning like the other signs above.

What to do if we believe the signs are a biblical warning: Christ warned early believers to flee Jerusalem, and Jonathan Hollerman, deputy director of Homeland Security, and author on survival strategy, offers daunting information for people living in cities. He explains how easy it would be for an EMP attack to knock out U.S. electrical grids that could not be restored for a year.

This means that truckers won’t be able to get fuel pumped to their trucks, and gangs will roam the city streets looking for food. Martial law will be enacted. Hollerman estimated that only 10% would survive one year in the cities. Why not look for a cabin, used mobile home, camper or a van for sleeping … before May?
