Congressman goes public with compelling reason to impeach Biden

Congress in recent years has figured out that impeachment is a fast and simple process. Democrats impeached President Trump twice, although they failed twice to remove him from office.

The second time was, strangely, after he already had left office. But no matter, there were no witnesses called before the impeachment vote either.

That ability may now be a problem.

Since Republicans likely will take the majority in the U.S. House, and possibly the Senate, too, following the 2022 elections.

It’s because one GOP congressman already is pointing out that Joe Biden now deserves impeachment.

The Daily Wire explained the push is coming from U.S. Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas.

On social media he said preliminary border numbers for the month of July were bad: “Total encounters: 205,029. Total known gotaways: 37,400. 1.3 million for [Fiscal Year] 21 so far. Largest monthly encounter number since 2000.”

Jesse Kelly, a political commentator, had explained, “What Joe Biden is doing at our border is impeachable. It’s more impeachable than Watergate. This is an attack on the sovereignty of America and it’s coming from the Oval Office. Republicans should move to impeach after 2022.”

Roy responded with: “Co-sponsor. #ImpeachBiden #ImpeachMayorkas.”

Roy told the Daily Wire there’s a reason there: “Over the past several months, President Biden and Sec. Mayorkas have blatantly and consistently refused to do their constitutional duty to take care that the immigration laws be faithfully executed, as required by Article II, endangering countless American and foreign lives in the process.”
