Gunpoint FBI raids of pro-life activists.

The demonization of conservatives as “semi-fascists.”

A platoon of FBI agents invading former President Trump’s home in search of … paperwork.

The characterization of concerned parents as “domestic terrorists.”

These are the Biden administration goals and schemes that now have a majority of Americans saying he has “gone too far” in persecuting political opponents.

The polling was a project of the Association of Mature American Citizens and the Trafalgar Group.

AMAC reported, “In recent weeks, the Biden administration has raided the home of former President Donald Trump, made clear that it is devoting vast resources to multiple criminal probes of Trump and other prominent conservatives, sent the FBI to arrest pro-life activists at gunpoint for protesting outside abortion clinics, and repeatedly demonized Republicans as fascists and domestic terrorists.”

So Americans, “when asked if they ‘believe the Biden administration has crossed an important ethical line in pursuing political opponents,’ 51.4 percent answered ‘Yes,’ indicating that the Biden administration’s efforts to intimidate and silence their political rivals – Trump in particular – may be backfiring in a big way with voters.”

Only 41.2% said Biden had not gone too far.

The polling was done Sept. 21-26 and surveyed 1,078 likely voters. There’s a margin of error of 2.9%.

“Even as the left insists that it is conservatives who are a ‘threat to democracy,’ the poll results clearly indicate that voters may believe it is the left, not the right, that is flouting political norms and ethical boundaries,” AMAC reported.

Among various groups, 74.2% of Latino voters say Biden has gone too far, as have 56.3% of Asian Americans, 55.5% of white voters and 76% of voters of other ethnicities.

Black respondents were in the minority on the question, with only 13.9% saying Biden has gone too far.

Younger voters were more supportive of Biden’s attacks on Americans, and along party lines the results were expected, with 86.9% of Republicans saying the Democrat in the White House has gone too far. About 80% of Democrats said no.

“Notably, however, 54.4 percent of independents and nearly one in 10 Democrat voters (9.8 percent) also responded ‘Yes’—signaling that disapproval of the Biden administration’s overreaches extends well beyond only Republicans,” the AMAC report said.

“These results come two months after the Biden FBI conducted its raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence—in which a swarm of federal agents stormed Trump’s home on what many observers have argued were dubious legal and ethical grounds. The results also come just a few weeks after Biden delivered one of the most dark and divisive speeches in the history of the American presidency, in which he smeared half the country as an ‘extreme threat to our democracy, to our freedom, [and] to our rights.’ In both instances, Biden weaponized the platform of the presidency to bully and intimidate his political opponents in unprecedented ways,” AMAC said.

Other “abuses” by Biden include the Biden DOJ’s “streak of threats” against parents opposing leftist ideologies in schools, the department’s decision not to enforce a federal law protecting Supreme Court justices and the Biden administration’s censorship of dissenting political views through its desired “Ministry of Truth” operations, the report said.

At the Federalist, a report explained, “The results of the survey conducted Sept. 21-26 mirror the findings of an earlier poll from the Trafalgar Group in August. A plurality of independents said the Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI were ‘too political, corrupt, and not to be trusted.’ More than half of Hispanics surveyed, or 55 percent, in the poll of 1,092 likely voters — a similar sample size to the group’s poll out Tuesday — said they believed the DOJ’s investigation of former President Donald Trump is politically motivated.”

It explained the FBI’s raid on Trump “possesses all the hallmarks of the routine witch hunt operations used to go after Trump from within the agency for the past six years.”

It continued, “Days after the raid, Attorney General Merrick Garland professed in a press conference that he had personally signed off on it. The raid, Garland said at the time, was ‘narrowly scope[d],’ though an examination of the warrant shows authorization to confiscate any and all documents Trump may have come into contact with as president.”

The surveys, The Federalist reported, “contradict Democrats’ hysterical claims that Republicans are an existential threat to Democracy itself, while Democrats, meanwhile, explicitly weaponize the levers of law enforcement against their political opponents.”

EDITOR’S NOTE: With what has been called the “Sovietization” of the Biden administration – including the shocking criminalization of dissent and massive weaponization of the FBI against political opponents – America is being increasingly compared to a third-world or communist dictatorship. Yet America still has one sacred institution that dictatorships from Zimbabwe to communist China don’t have: ELECTIONS. And in reality, there is no reason, despite the regime’s all-out efforts at election rigging, that the tens of millions of decent, right-thinking American voters cannot stop the Biden administration’s ever-expanding madness this November. For that reason, the September issue of WND’s critically acclaimed monthly Whistleblower magazine insightfully covers the most electrifying and important races, illuminates the biggest issues, reveals how the latest federal takeover of elections actually violates the law, and much more. Looking forward to 2024, the issue also highlights why, to quote the chairman of a major think tank, Donald Trump “is the most towering political figure in living memory” and the person “most fit to lead” today’s America. It’s all in “STOPPING THE MADNESS: A MIDTERM ELECTION GUIDE FOR VOTERS WHO LOVE AMERICA.”
