'Keying your own car and slashing your own tires': Biden's 'unity' disintegrates

A new analysis from Just the News is revealing, just hours after Joe Biden delivered a State of the Union address to Congress, that he can’t even bring his own Democrat party together.

“Everywhere there were optics of dissension, division and dissatisfaction inside the Democratic Party,” the analysis noted. Voters were handed the “reality” that Biden “isn’t even able to unify his own party.”

The evidence included Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., “stunningly” sitting with Republican senators during the address – a move that happened only hours after Manchin called Biden “hypocritical” for letting Russian oil to be imported while destroying America’s own energy production capabilities.

On the other end of the political spectrum, “firebrand Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and Black Caucus member Colin Allred (D-Texas) – felt compelled to air counterprogramming to their own president’s prime time speech,” the analysis said.

“It was such a rebuke that Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-N.J.) compared the Democrats’ counteraddresses ‘to keying your own car and slashing your own tires,'” it said.

Another Democrat whose positions are considered extreme by many, Rep. Cori Bush, from Missouri, demanded Biden act immediately on 18,000 requesting “clemency.”

The defund-the-police activist charged, “Justice delayed is justice denied.”

Biden openly rejected that during his address.

Explained the analysis, “The division in Biden’s party goes far deeper, evidenced the weekend before the speech when retired Democrat Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard — just two years removed from running against Biden in the presidential primaries — showed up at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, Fla., as the keynote speaker at the annual Ronald Reagan dinner.”

She “unloaded on Biden, big government Democrats, liberal media” and more.

“Basically, what they’re telling us is you are an enemy of the state if you dare to oppose or even question the president, his administration on his policies, shut up, step back, fall in line, or we’re coming to you,” she said.

The seeds of the discord were planted years ago, with the surge of popularity of the extremists, those members of the Squad who openly challenged the establishment’s House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

“They’re already in the civil war,” suggested former Republican presidential candidate and Minnesota congresswoman Michelle Bachmann in an interview with Just the News.
