Let's not forget: Abortion is barbaric, horrific … and deadly

There seems to be no end to the horrors we are exposed to when we learn more about what goes on in medical labs and offices in this country and around the world.

The general name given to the medical procedure is “abortion,” but when you learn exactly what happens, that seems to be too benign a term to use.

I saw that close-up one evening last week when I was scrolling around the internet. I suddenly found myself looking at some kind of medical procedure. It was a close-up of some soft tissue and the occasional movement of a medical instrument being inserted into the tissue. There was no blood and no sound on the tape, so at first, I didn’t know what was going on. I just watched, assuming that at one point I would find out.

I did, because a few minutes later, the instrument that went into the tissue, came out with the ends of it grasping something. That “something” was a very tiny hand. It was a perfectly formed, human hand.

It was at that point that I realized I was watching an abortion.

I continued to watch as the instrument went in and out until a minute or so later, it came out again, this time grasping a very tiny human foot. Again, perfectly formed.

The abortion continued, but I didn’t keep watching. I’d had enough. I didn’t need to keep watching as that pre-born human baby was pulled apart and killed inside his or her mother and pulled out in pieces.

The whole visual made me both deeply sad and angry because these kinds of things happen every day of the year, and millions of people defend it.

They say it’s the right of a woman. Think of it. They say it’s the right of a woman to have her own child killed and pulled apart in her own body and removed piece by piece.

There’s no humanity in it and no recognition that abortion is the planned death – read that “killing” – of a human being. There’s no funeral – and while sometimes the baby parts are sold for “medical research,” often they are just thrown away. Like trash.

President Biden has long supported the Hyde Amendment, which prevents federal taxpayer dollars from directly paying for abortions. It’s something most taxpayers support, but that’s about to change. He has eliminated that from his proposed budget for next year. Those in favor of the elimination say it insures that all women have the full ability to access “safe, legal abortions.” Those opposed to the Hyde Amendment call it racist and discriminatory toward minorities, so they are pleased with the administration’s intent.

I saw a Biden quote in an article by Tyler O’Neil. Biden once said: “Don’t tell me what you value. Show me your budget, and I’ll tell you what you value.”

I guess we know now.

But this isn’t the worst of it. Not only are abortions killing millions of unborn children, but there are also now so-called medical abortions that abort babies alive and then kill them so that their organs can be harvested.

The whole point is to have fresh organs to harvest, which can only be done when taken from a living child.

Who’s doing this? Medical students are being taught to induce-late term abortions, deliver live babies and then harvest the bodies for whatever organs are needed for research purposes.

The rationale is that it was an abortion, and the baby was to die anyway. The fate of the babies was death by whatever means.

Thousands of medical students are being trained for “live” abortions, in vivo fetal tissue recovery and late-term infanticide techniques.

While this is done nationwide, I have a report from “Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust” – an anti-abortion organization – that these in vivo abortions are being taught and practiced at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. It’s been going on for years – yet the reality has been kept a secret because of concern of the reaction from the public when it is found out.

Yet it’s reported that UCSF is “widely acknowledged to be the leading abortion training facility in America … if not the world. It’s ground zero for everything that has to do with ending pregnancies and killing babies. Every abortion procedure in use today is taught at UCSF.”

Funding for the training has made it commonplace with millions in research grants from the National Institute of Health. Yet, that born-alive abortion victim can be worth thousands as its organs are harvested. It’s reported that one good liver from a live-birth baby can be worth $7,000 to a research lab. Other organs and tissue samples also are also most valuable and profitable.

Here’s an interesting question: Do you think the woman who was pregnant with that child knows this is what happens to the infant? Do you think she gets to share in the profits from the sale of all those baby parts?

Don’t be silly. She just gets to pay for the abortion.

Don’t think that this just goes on in the U.S. The International Society for Stem Cell Research just released new guidelines governing research with ethical implications. It lifts restrictions on certain types of unethical research that manipulate, alter, or destroy human embryos.

It removes the 14-day rule, which had limited research on human embryos up to 14 days after fertilization. Now, there is no time limit.

It allows growing babies in the womb for 40 days for the sole purpose of killing them for research.

It allows creating three-parent human embryos.

It allows human-animal chimera research, in other words, allowing research on creatures that are a mix of human and animal cells, characteristics or tissues – i.e., animals with human brains, faces or body parts.

In May, Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J., and Sen. Mike Braun, R-Ind., introduced the Human-Animal Chimera Prohibition Act of 2021 (HR 3542/S.1800), which would prohibit research involving human-animal chimeras that blur human-animal species distinctions.

Sen. Braun said, “I believe such research is an affront to the sanctity of human life that should be outlawed. … I’m proud to stand with Rep. Chris Smith against unethical animal-human hybrid research and will continue to fight for bioethics restrictions that protect human and animal life from unethical experimentation.”
