The COVID-19 pandemic exploded across the world, killing hundreds of thousands and setting the stage for elites in international groups to impose their will on citizens.
No church services allowed. Only remote learning in schools. Mask up and take that shot – even though we really don’t know if it’s safe for you or not.
That, combined with the leftist and socialist goals of Joe Biden’s administration, has left an American population wondering where their rights went.
Now it’s becoming evident: The elites have them.
The latest example has been documented by National File, which has revealed how those international personalities who occupy the managerial posts at the World Economic Forum want ordinary people to end their “wasteful” private ownership of vehicles.
They want the populace to use public transportation, and communal cars.
“The average car or van in England is driven just 4% of the time,” the WEF stated in a new paper assembled to deliver its instructions to others.
It insists car owners should sell their vehicles because, “Car sharing platforms such as Getaround and BlueSG have already seized that opportunity to offer vehicles where you pay per hour used.”
The international group argues that ending private car ownership is going to be required to address “climate change” effectively.
And that concept will be applied to more than just cars.
“A design process that focuses on fulfilling the underlying need instead of designing for product purchasing is fundamental to this transition. This is the mindset needed to redesign cities to reduce private vehicles and other usages,” the report charged.
Some state governments in the U.S. and some European nations already have begun moving that direction, with rules already in place to ban the sale of non-electric cars within the next decade.
In the U.S., such demands already are in place in Washington, New York and California.
The report explained, “In Ireland, the government has told citizens that they will be packed into densely populated cities in order to combat climate change. Drivers will be forced off the roads as part of a plan that will ‘revolutionize’ people’s lifestyle and behaviors.”
Further, the strategy has been openly discussed, and already is being implemented, to raise gasoline prices so high that people are unable to afford to travel. In the United States, gasoline prices exploded well past $5 a gallon this year already, with Biden administration officials admitting the hardship on consumers, but promising things will be so much better after the full transition is completed.
The report charged, “the government plans to force people ‘out of private cars because they are the biggest offenders for emissions’ with proposals that include banning fossil fuel vehicles from towns and cities nationwide to intentionally cripple ordinary motorists.”
