Confirmed: Democrats hide and lie about their dealings with Iran

The American Center for Law and Justice recently revealed that the Biden administration reportedly was considering lifting sanctions against Iran’s Supreme Leader – Ayatollah Ali Khamenei – in efforts to restore the “disastrous” Iran Nuclear Deal.

The report explained Biden is “bending over backwards to get a nuclear deal.”

Now the organization is warning that that could be very bad – because Joe Biden and his representatives have a history of concealing from the American public what they are doing with Iran – even lying about it.

The ACLJ reported it recently obtained an unredacted copy of an email from Jen Psaki, under the Barack Obama administration a spokeswoman for the State Department and now Biden’s chief spokeswoman at the White House, revealing she was trying to “shut … down” the release of any information.

That happened before Biden and Obama reached that secret agreement with Iran which was condemned by President Trump, who pulled the United States out, as a disaster.

The ACLJ reported the email was turned over, in full, after a judge ordered the State Department to do so. And it “shows that the Obama administration was trying to ‘shut . . . down’ and ‘battening down the hatches’ on any public discussion of the secret Obama-Biden bilateral negotiations with Iran on the disastrous Iran deal.”

The ACLJ reported the background is important, and that includes a Fox News question to Victoria Nuland, then Psaki’s predecessor at State, about direct and secret talks between the U.S. and Iran.

Nuland said Biden was “prepared” to talk to Iran bilaterally, but discussions on a government-to-government level had not happened.

Then when further reports appeared that that was, in fact, a lie, reporters questioned Psaki, then installed at State, about the issue.

The question she faced was, “Is it the policy of the State Department, where the preservation or the secrecy of secret negotiations is concerned, to lie in order to achieve that goal?”

Her stunning response was, “I think there are times where diplomacy needs privacy in order to progress. This is a good example of that.”

“This is still incredibly relevant today as now the Biden administration is once again seeking to reenter the Iran nuclear deal – a disastrous deal cloaked from the beginning in deception,” the ACLJ reported.

“It’s rather alarming that Ms. Psaki has authorized herself to determine when she should and should not tell the truth, considering that she now speaks for the White House and President Biden. But maybe it’s not all that surprising,” the ACLJ reported.

“The Obama administration – of which then-Vice President Biden was an integral part – engaged in closed-door negotiations with Iran, the leading state sponsor of terrorism in the world, long before the public knew. And then they tried to obscure the facts to cover it up. They lied to the American people about the most critical and controversial diplomatic negotiations in decades.”

The report continued, “It is also important to know that many of the key individuals caught up in these emails are currently serving in the Biden administration. … Most of these individuals are still key players in the Biden administration’s attempts to reenter the Iran nuclear deal. The American people deserve the truth about these efforts.”

The ACLJ said the new questions include: “Why was the Obama-Biden administration so intent on keeping this information from the American public, and why is the Biden administration continuing that effort?”
