Dozens of ex-intelligence officials for the United States infamously signed a letter just before the 2020 election claiming that the accurate reporting about Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop contained signs of Russian “disinformation.”
It contained reams of details about many scandals in which the younger Biden was involved, including schemes that may have involved sources inside America’s enemies, like Russia and China, turning over large amounts of cash to Biden in what critics charge was a plan to sell access to Joe Biden.
It was part of the leftist strategy to suppress that information – legacy and social media companies were fully on board – to push Joe Biden into the White House.
While what might have happened has those reports been carried widely, a Media Research Center poll conducted after the vote found 4.6% of all Biden voters said they would not have voted for him had they known the facts.
That in all likelihood would have left President Trump serving his second term.

Now, a report from the Daily Wire reveals some of those 51 ex-officials have been put on notice by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio.
Jordan has joined with House Intelligence Committee Chairman Michael Turner, R-Ohio, to send letters to 12 of those signers, including former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.
The Daily Wire reported it obtained copies of the correspondence, and it is a demand for full compliance with a request for documents and testimony.
Jordan made the requests when the Republican Party was in the minority, and didn’t get answers. Now the GOP is the House majority.
The letters said, “As we begin the 118th Congress, we write again to reiterate our outstanding request and ask that you immediately comply in full.”
Others getting the instructions included Rick Ledgett, John McLaughlin, Michael Morell, Nicholas Rasmussen, Russell Travers, Michael Vickers, Nick Shapiro, Jeremy Bash, Thomas Fingar, and Michael Hayden — many of whom held positions in the CIA.
The letter, just before the 2020 vote, claimed, incorrectly, that the laptop had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
However, it wasn’t. The information in the laptop largely has been documented now as accurate.
Hunter Biden had left the laptop at a repair shop, whose owner eventually copied the drive, then turned the computer over to the FBI, which has not acted on evidence that could be interpreted to support criminal charges.

Why are they simultaneously being frightened of the future by being fed lurid, terrifying – and groundless – apocalyptic tales of the imminent destruction of the world due to global warming?
No wonder youth suicides have skyrocketed, as have depression, anxiety, addiction and drug overdoses. Indeed, fentanyl, the No. 1 cause of death of younger Americans 18 to 45, destroys multitudes of children annually.
Make no mistake: The harm being done to America’s children in this multi-front war is not accidental: Children are the primary target.
