‘Leave me alone’: Woman fired for wishing Trump got assassinated makes new videos whining about sudden national attention

Alison King

A woman fired after expressing sadness President Donald Trump was not assassinated at the White House Correspondents Dinner last month is now making new videos complaining about being doxxed due to sudden national attention on her.

Alison King, who was terminated by UnitedHealthcare in the Minneapolis-St.Paul area, originally made headlines after posting a clip of herself in the wake of the attempted murder of Trump, saying: “We’re cooked as a country when my first reaction to hearing the news about Trump’s attempt was, ‘It was probably fake.’”

“Like, immediately I was like, ‘Oh, that wasn’t real, probably fake,’” she said. “And the second was ‘Aww, they missed? So happy they missed.’ Yeah, that’s sad,’” King said sarcastically.

On Monday, King posted numerous videos addressing her comments and the subsequent fallout.

In the first video, she indicated: “A few weeks ago, I made a stupid video about the president. The far right found it, posted it on Twitter and then got me fired from my job. I am already reaping the consequences of what I said. I lost my job in an economy that’s already incredibly difficult and I want to move forward.”

“Do I regret what I said? Absolutely. I shouldn’t have posted it on the internet.”

“It was a joke. I do not condone violence and I would never hurt anybody.”

“That being said, I just got a letter in the mail, they have an address on it so I’m going to have to report it to the authorities. It’s a picture of my house, and it says, ‘Alison, how does it feel? You’ve been doxxed in karma. Cause and effect is coming.’ With a smiley face.”

“All I have to say is that we’re living in an incredibly scary time. Please be careful what you post on the internet. People are insane. Again, I am already suffering the consequences of what I said and did.”

“I want to move on, but these people are so vindictive and they wanna preach morality while sending me letter like this, and while leaving hateful messages on my social media calling me every name in the book because of a stupid thing that I said about the president of the United States who number one, does not care about you and number two, probably didn’t even see what I said. He doesn’t care.”

“Somehow I am being held more accountable for something stupid I said on the internet than people who send stuff like this and the president of the United States who has been spewing violent rhetoric his whole presidential career.”

“Go on the internet right now and make sure that your address and your phone number is not on there because I’ve seen people get doxxed for reposting an Instagram story about the president.”

She concluded by with a plea to “please leave me alone.”

Hours later, she posted a second video on TikTok, in which she ironically said: “I refuse to dwell on this.”

“I feel like the internet trolls want me to live in this perpetual state of misery.”

“I have no idea what my career’s gonna look like. I don’t know if I’m ever going to get hired again. I don’t know act any of this looks like, but I can only live for today.”

Tom Hlavin, founder of FitScore360, took note of King’s videos and opined: “Unfortunately for Allison, the internet is indeed forever. I’m in the recruitment space, and should she get an interview request, chances are 90% the recruiter will do a social media ‘background check.’ Her post will most likely come up. Chances are good that the other applicants who haven’t called attention to themselves will get the nod.”

“And (sadly) for those offenders that wipe out their social media in an attempt at rehabilitation, the first question in a recruiter’s mind is, ‘Why?’”

Others commented:

“There are crazies on both sides and no one should be threatening her but this wasn’t an apology or a realization that she was raising the temperature. This was an ‘I really, really feel bad … that I was caught and held accountable.’ Even in the video here she says we are the crazy ones and that Trump spews hate. They never learn.”

“People are not vindictive, people are done. I bet she smiled and laughed a couple years ago when her social media buddies were doing the same to Tea Party Patriots. If what you posted about Trump got you fired, it wasn’t something mild, I got money that bets it was something about bad aim. For years social media companies looked the other way and out right ignored what you said and what you did. Well Karmas here to take a big bite out of your a**. My suggestion to you, is delete your social media accounts and quit posting videos that double down on your stupidity.”

“The level of stupidity and complete lack of self awareness is staggering! Add in her PROJECTING her mental illness back onto us (as usual) when she gets a little taste of her own insanity. These people are a walking, talking mental health crisis ad. Open the asylums, boy do we need them!”

Is the news we hear every day actually broadcasting messages from God? The answer is an absolute yes! Find out how!
