A new report is revealing the mass release of single adult immigrants, through an unmarked office in a Texas parking lot, into the United States.
Fox News explains its video cameras caught the situation developing as several federally hired buses dropped off dozens of “mostly male migrants” in Brownsville, Texas.
The report comes just as the Customs and Border Patrol released its December numbers, revealing nearly 179,000 encounters in December, up from November and a massive jump from the some 74,000 reported in December 2020.
The total means that there have been about two million such encounters within a year.
Fox’s report said “large numbers” of single men were being processed through a “Border Patrol drop-off” location.
“Fox witnessed men go into a small, unmarked office, then re-emerge moments later as multiple taxi cabs then showed up to collect the migrants — who were then shuttled off to nearby Harlingen Airport. There were no children or migrant families among the groups,” the report said.
Fox learned from several of the immigrants they had crossed the border illegally after paying about $2,000 apiece to criminal cartel smugglers.
They also said they were en route to Miami, Houston and Atlanta.
Brownsville officials told Fox their Office of Emergency Management was working to help transfer migrants “to their final destination.”
They explained the parking garage as a “staging area” for migrants to be given health screenings if needed and travel information.
While Customs and Border Protection officials said they were not involved, Fox reported, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement source said that agency probably was.
The border crisis is one of Joe Biden’s own making, as he trashed virtually all of the border security measures that had been launched by President Trump, including the border wall work to secure long sections of the boundary.
