‘There is to be no hesitation’: Trump orders kill shots for Iranian ships laying mines in Strait of Hormuz

President Donald Trump has ordered kill shots from the U.S. Navy for Iranian vessels caught laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz.

His battles against Iran, which launched under “Operation Epic Fury” with the goal of eliminating Iran’s ability to threaten nuclear annihilation against other nations around the globe, now are focused on that narrow water passage through which 20% of the world’s oil supplies pass.

Trump said on social media that despite Iran’s navy lying “at the bottom of the sea,” it still has some small boats.

“I have ordered the United States Navy to shoot and kill any boat, small boats though they may be (Their naval ships are ALL, 159 of them, at the bottom of the sea!), that is putting mines in the waters of the Strait of Hormuz,” the president said.

“There is to be no hesitation,” Trump added. “Additionally, our mine ‘sweepers’ are clearing the Strait right now. I am hereby ordering that activity to continue, but at a tripled up level!”

He also lamented the fact that Iran’s leadership structure at this point appears to be in chaos.

Maj. Gen. Ahmad Vahidi, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, has taken the lead in determining how Iran exercises its military power.

The Washington Examiner reported Trump’s move follows Iranian ships firing on other ships passing through “without the required authorization.”

Trump has extended his ceasefire order even as there are attempts to schedule new peace talks.

Trump explained, “Iran is having a very hard time figuring out who their leader is! They just don’t know! The infighting is between the ‘Hardliners,’ who have been losing BADLY on the battlefield, and the ‘Moderates,’ who are not very moderate at all (but gaining respect!), is CRAZY! We have total control over the Strait of Hormuz. No ship can enter or leave without the approval of the United States Navy.”

The strait will stay sealed, he said, until Iran is ready to make a deal.

There actually could be some help arriving from Europe soon. Reports reveal the United Kingdom apparently is preparing its dive teams to help remove those dangerous elements from waterways through which many ships pass.

U.S. forces, which are maintaining their blockade of Iranian ports, also continue to draw the line on those activities, boarding another vessel hauling oil from Iran.

The Defense Department released video footage of U.S. forces on the deck of the oil tanker Majestic X, which was seized in the Indian Ocean, reports said. The oil tanker Tifani earlier was seized by American forces.
