‘Fantastic’: Watch giant ‘woke’ company return to its roots with PRO-fatherhood video

Though Disney in recent years has veered way beyond Walt’s original goal for the company – jumping headlong into “woke” ideologies in its movies, for example – its new ad for Disney Cruise Line is almost shocking in its promotion of traditional fatherhood.

And it’s nowhere near Father’s Day.

The 90-second ad follows the relationship of a father and his son over two decades, portraying the dad as prioritizing time with his boy – and even giving him some space as a teenager.

WATCH:

Not the Bee commented on the ad: “In a cultural moment defined by confusion about identity, blurred roles, and the steady sidelining of fathers, that kind of image feels almost countercultural.”

One X user remarked, “Put whoever was in charge of this in charge of Disney.”
