‘God’s perfect design’: 1 state enrages activists by replacing ‘Pride’ month with new recognition

The LGBT community in America long ago adopted “Pride” as a theme, meaning a Pride festival was to celebrate the alternative lifestyle choices.

Schools have used it, radical extremists have used it, libraries have used it, even Joe Biden used it when he turned the White House into a “Pride” event during his time in the Oval Office.

But one state has just delivered a huge blow to that campaign: Tennessee officially has removed the title “Pride Month” from June, replacing it with “Nuclear Family Month.”

Homosexual activists are livid.

The New York Post said Republican Gov. Bill Lee signed a resolution for the new celebration for the month, which defines the traditional family unit as “one husband, one wife, and any biological, adopted, or fostered children.”

The state legislature’s wording defined the nuclear family as “God’s perfect design for humanity and is aligned with the long-held traditional values of Tennessee.”

“The nuclear family is under attack in our beloved State and nation, and it is our responsibility to uplift, protect, and support values that help Tennessee prosper,” the lawmakers stated.

The pro-LGBT activists at GLAAD claimed, “Resolutions like this do more to reveal the cluelessness of elected officials whose own families and those of their constituents have various family dynamics and structures.

”The strongest families are grounded by love. Lawmakers trying to exclude and intentionally harm some families should be recognized as actively harming all by not focusing their time working for an inclusive Tennessee where all are welcome and can succeed.”

The resolution does not prevent LGBT residnets in the state from celebrating the way they want.
