Reports: Woman who accused Swalwell now cooperating with authorities

U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif.

One of the woman who accusing ex-Rep. Eric Swalwell, one of the anti-Trump Democrats from California, of assault now has begun working with investigators at the prosecuting attorney’s office in Manhattan.

A report at CNN revealed the women, who has accused Swalwell of raping her, told the organization she’s working with the review of allegations against Swalwell.

The Democrat whose claims to fame in recent years have been having an alleged relationship with a Chinese spy and trying to get President Donald Trump removed from office quit his campaign for the California governor’s office and resigned from Congress because of the scandal.

The accuser, who has not publicly identified herself, has stated Swalwell raped her in a New York City hotel in April 2024, prompting the Manhattan DA to begin a review.

Swalwell has denied all accusations.

A report at the Gateway Pundit said the woman worked in Swalwell’s office for several years.

“After the San Francisco Chronicle dropped its bombshell report on Swalwell, three additional women spoke to CNN and provided evidence about alleged additional misconduct by the California Democrat,” the report said.

One alleged victim told CNN, “I can see flashes of that evening of him on top of me, me pushing him off, him grabbing me. It was a lot more aggressive. It was aggressive.

“He didn’t stop. He didn’t stop. I woke up the next morning naked, alone in his hotel. I, for a moment, didn’t even know that I was in his hotel room. That’s how intoxicated I was,” she charged.

CNN has said it corroborated some of the claims in interviews with friends and family.
