In a Senate hearing Wednesday, U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., grilled witness Susan Monarez, the woman who had been appointed director of the CDC but spent just a month in the office before being forced to resign after a disagreement with her boss, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Paul peppered Monarez with questions about the efficacy of the COVID vaccine.
