An executive at Fox News has been fired after making wild claims, on video, about expense report manipulation that included the possibility of charging $4,000 strip club bills to the corporation.
Fox Weather issued a statement that Jason Hermes “has been terminated.”
It continued, “The comments he made during a personal outing grossly misrepresented his position at FOX Weather and within the larger company. Expense reports are subject to a sophisticated review and auditing process, and his wildly bizarre claims were immediately investigated, which we are in the process of finishing. We have found no evidence whatsoever that they are true.”

It was the O’Keefe Media Group that earlier released an undercover video of Hermes making the claims.
According to the Gateway Pundit, “Jason Hermes bragged to an undercover OMG journalist that he can just walk into a strip club and spend thousands of dollars on a Fox corporate credit card.”
He said, ‘You could take this [Fox Credit Card], walk into a strip club, literally, and spend $4,000…on Fox! Go into your corporate manager, and they would sign it and pay it off…it’s still like that.”
He said, “It’s the best job, because I’m a celebrity around all of it, but no one knows me. It’s like winning the lottery.”

The report said, “Lying on an expense report, such as disguising strip club charges, directly violates Fox Media’s Standards of Business Conduct, which require “accurate and complete” information. These apparent false entries are rolled into budgets, audits, and corporate filings, making company disclosures misleading instead of “full, fair, and accurate.” Because Fox requires employees to record truthful data, Hermes is in clear violation of this policy, which can constitute financial misconduct.”
WorldNetDaily reported when the video was released that in September 2024, Hermes joined Fox Weather after having served as vice president of content marketing sales at the Weather Channel.
