Arizona AG suggests SHOOTING ICE agents under state’s ‘stand your ground’ law

Stand your ground laws are ordinary self-defense statutes in many places across the United States.

They allow people to defend themselves, even with lethal force, when they are threatened.

Now the attorney general in the state of Arizona has suggested that that law could be used to attack and kill federal law enforcement agents.

AG Kris Mayes notes the expansive rights under the state’s law.

“You have these masked federal officers with very little identification, sometimes no identification, wearing plain clothes, and masks, and we have a stand your ground law that says if you reasonably believe that your life is in danger, and you’re in your house or your car or at on your property, that you can defend yourself with lethal force.”

A commentary at Twitchy said , “It truly feels like these elected officials want to see ICE agents get killed. This latest from the Arizona Attorney General is truly outrageous. Elections matter and it was very bad when this woman won. Stand Your Ground does not apply to shooting law enforcement on your property there to remove you because you are in this country illegally. These elected officials seem to forget these illegals are breaking the law. They have no right to be in America. Law enforcement has every right to remove them. Furthermore, these agents have to mask because of all the terrible people trying to dox them. They are also wearing badges. It’s very clear who they are.”
