Rogue federal judges have created what some analysts already have called a constitutional crisis by claiming that President Donald Trump isn’t allowed to run the executive branch, over which the Constitution gives him authority, the way he sees would help America the most, without their approval.
They’ve blocked his plans to cut fraud, waste and corruption, to remove illegal alien criminals from the U.S., to secure the border, and to operate foreign policy as he determines is best,
The result is that many are discussing impeaching some of the leftists in black robes.
That, however, would require at least some support from Democrats because the GOP doesn’t hold a two-thirds majority in the Senate, which would have to remove the judges after a House conviction.
U.S. Sen. Chip Roy, R-Texas, is suggesting another way, which can be accomplished with simple majority votes in the House and Senate, where the GOP does have control: Take away the judges’ funding.
On social media, he said, “Lots of noise about impeachment. We must study every ruling & act accordingly w/ everything on the table (noting: 14 Dem votes required in Senate.). But, more fertile ground… 1) House can pass a resolution stating there is/was an invasion, 2) we can defund radical courts.”

An analysis at the Gateway Pundit turned blunt: “While impeachment is the rightful remedy for out-of-control judges, the reality of the Senate’s two-thirds vote requirement (67 out of 100 senators) makes removing these radicals difficult. Even if every Republican senator voted in favor of conviction, 14 Democrats would need to defect—an unlikely scenario.”
It continued, “Rather than wasting time on performative impeachment votes, House Republicans can take immediate action by blocking funding for these weaponized courts through the appropriations process. With Republicans controlling the purse strings, judges … can be rendered powerless—unable to pay their bloated staffs or enforce their unconstitutional rulings.”
