Democrats on a national level, while claiming to fight “disinformation,” actually have been seen to be promoting it in recent years.
And now it’s come down to the state level, with a prominent Colorado figure wildly claiming without evidence that if Republicans are elected, voting could soon end.
The disinformation unleashed on the nation in recent years includes, significantly, the years-long claims of collusion between the 2016 Donald Trump campaign and Russia.
All debunked, but Democrat pushers of the agenda even still have refused to recant.
Then there’s the green agenda, that the climate is “changing” so dramatically millions of lives literally will be snuffed out soon. All the while lives actually are being endangered because of the ill-conceived rush to abandon fossil fuels and nuclear power.
Then there are the claims about conservatives being terrorists and guilty of “domestic violence.” That would be if they object to leftist ideologies in their public schools.
Further are the wild and unsupported claims about Crisis Pregnancy Centers being a “danger” to women solely because they don’t provide abortion.
And what about those “mostly peaceful” race-based riots during 2020 that left billions of dollars in damage to city infrastructures?
Now a report from 9News in Denver reveals the uncorrected allegation from Jena Griswold, the Colorado Democrat who is secretary of state.
The report explained she “misleadingly claims that Republicans could soon end voting nationwide.”
The report noted, “Griswold’s campaign did not provide evidence to support her claim and did not respond when asked if she still believed what she said.”
And it points out that Griswold has been an “outspoken critic of Republican election misinformation,” a term the legacy media often uses for questions about obvious integrity failings of the 2020 election.
A poll out just this week revealed, in fact, 79% of respondents believe the leftist suppression of accurate New York Post reporting about the Biden family’s international business schemes likely changed the result of that election.
The report cited Griswold’s statement to the Guardian: “The US could lose the right to vote within months” if Republicans are elected.
“A spokesperson offered a statement that appeared to backtrack from Griswold’s unsupported claim that Republicans could soon end U.S. elections,” the report said. In fact, Griswold spokeswoman Kyla Sabado said, “To clarify, the right to vote is at risk for many Americans across the country.”
The Guardian’s characterization of Griswold was explicit. It said Griswold “is warning anyone who will listen that the fate of free and fair elections in the United States hangs in the balance in this November’s midterm contests.”
The report describes as a “myth” concerns that the 2020 election was stolen. But in fact, what is known as that there undoubtedly was undue influence on the election results from the $420 million Mark Zuckerberg handed out through foundations to mostly leftist election officials who recruited Democrat voters.
Further, states violated their own laws to accommodate a leftist strategy for balloting.
And, WND reported on this week’s shocking result that eight in 10 Americans believe the legacy and social media conspiracy to cover up the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, just days before the 2020 presidential election, changed the results.
According to a report from investigative reporter Paul Sperry, “a whopping 79%” suggest that President Donald Trump “likely would have won reelection if voters had known the truth about Hunter Biden’s laptop.”
What was suppressed by legacy media publications, and social media giants like Twitter and Facebook, was that the laptop was real, that it contained damaging information about the Biden family’s international business schemes, including some with enemies that may have profited Joe Biden, and all those sordid images, emails and recordings about drugs, prostitutes and worse.
It was not “Russian disinformation,” as a long list of partisan former intelligence officials aligned with Joe Biden, had claimed.
The report explained, “The survey of 1,335 adults was conducted earlier this month by New Jersey-based Technometrica Institute of Policy and Politics. The vast majority of those following the issue said they believe that the laptop is real, while only 11 percent still believe it was created by Russia.”
The authenticity of the laptop now has been confirmed by even left-leaning publications such as the Washington Post and New York Times, which originally had suppressed it.
“In October 2020, the New York Post broke the story that Hunter Biden had abandoned the Apple computer at a Wilmington, Del., repair shop. The newspaper exposed emails from the hard drive indicating the Biden family may have participated in illicit business deals in Ukraine, China, and other countries. Social media censored the story, denying voters critical information on the eve of the election,” Sperry reported.
The poll revealed 74% believe that the FBI and Intelligence Community deliberately misled voters when key players claimed – falsely — the laptop was “disinformation” and part of a Kremlin plot to hurt Biden’s candidacy.
It’s not the first time such concerns have been raised. At the end of 2020, WND reported a survey commissioned by the Media Research Center found more than one-third of voters who chose Joe Biden were not aware of the evidence linking the former vice president to corrupt financial dealings with China through his son Hunter.
Had they known, the survey said, President Trump would have won at least 289 Electoral College votes, and would be president now.
The Guardian charged, “Griswold, who chairs the Democratic Association of Secretaries of State (Dass) and is running for re-election, is urging Americans to pay attention to the once-sleepy down-ballot contests for secretary of state – lest they lose their democracy.”
Griswold said, in the report, “What we can expect from the extreme Republicans running across this country is to undermine free and fair elections for the American people, strip Americans of the right to vote, refuse to address security breaches and, unfortunately, be more beholden to Mar-a-Lago than the American people.”
She claimed, “The country could lose the right to vote and we could lose … more of our fundamental freedoms in less than three months.”
Griswold’s opponent in the November election is Pam Anderson, a Republican former county clerk.
Griswold said in the interview while campaigning, “On several occasions recently she said voters have broken down in tears over the right to vote.”
While in office, she urged more security for election officials, backed reforms that would give her power over elections should there be disputes at the local level, and cracked down on unauthorized access to the state’s voting system, which is run now by mail-in ballots only.
The 9News report added, “Griswold has misleadingly suggested that her Republican opponent in November is an election denier. GOP nominee Pam Anderson has been clear that she has faith in the election system and that President Joe Biden was elected fairly.”
Anderson said Griswold’s claim that Republicans would end U.S. elections within months was “self serving and damaging hyperpartisan rhetoric,” the report said.
