While there has been plenty of media condemnation of the colorful language used by President Donald Trump when he was in office, will they react the same way now that Joe Biden has taken the potty-mouth route?
On Monday, Biden called Fox News reporter Peter Doocy “a stupid son of a b*tch” after the journalist asked the president if inflation would be a political liability in the November midterm elections.
CNN media reporter Brian Stelter was among those sharing the clip on Twitter, noting: “At the end of a Biden photo op, when reporters shouted Q’s hoping he’d respond, Fox’s Peter Doocy asked, ‘Do you think inflation is a political liability in the midterms?’
Biden deadpanned: “It’s a great asset—more inflation. What a stupid son of a b*tch.”

In the wake of the slur, Jesse Waters of Fox News clowned with Doocy on the air, saying: “So Doocy, I think the president’s right. You are a stupid S.O.B.”
Doocy jokingly responded, “Yeah, nobody has fact-checked him yet and said it’s not true.”

Townhall.com unearthed video of Biden from January of last year in which he threatened to fire people on the spot for mistreating colleagues.
It tweeted: “Joe Biden in January of 2021: ‘But I’m not joking when I say this, if you are ever working with me and I hear you treat another colleague with disrespect, talk down to someone, I promise you I will fire you on the spot.'”

And in 2018, CNN’s Stelter himself noted of then-President Trump: “Calling a journalist a ‘son of a bitch?’ It was wrong when Trump was just a candidate, and it’s even worse now that he’s POTUS (president).”
