Testifying before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Tuesday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio defended President Trump’s deportation efforts, directly addressing Democrat Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen, who last month visited a deported illegal alien in El Salvador and championed his cause.
Said Rubio: “We deported gang members — including the one you had a margarita with — And that guy is a human trafficker and that guy is a gang banger.”
Van Hollen immediately and angrily demanded of the committee chairman that Rubio’s testimony be struck from the record.
