U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., is being ferociously mocked on social media this week after an unearthed video shows her literally calling World War II “World War 11 (Eleven).”
The clip is from Jan. 22, 2025, as the Democrat pushed for repeal of Alien Enemies Act of 1798, which President Donald Trump used as a tool to rapidly deport Venezuelan gang members who were in America illegally.
“The last time the Alien Enemies Act was invoked, it was used to detain and deport German, Japanese, Italian immigrants during World War Eleven,” Omar stated, as she read from a prepared script.

The “Squad” member then instantly corrected herself, giggling as she said: “Oh … two … sorry.”
LisbofTikTok shared the now viral video Monday, saying: “I can’t believe this dummy is in Congress. DEPORT this Somali already.”
U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., wondered Tuesday: “When were World Wars 3-10?”
Sarah Sizzle on X stated: “She learned history at the Quality Learing Center,” a reference to the famously misspelled Minneapolis child-care center raided by federal agents Tuesday for alleged fraud.
Turning Point USA author Jack Posobiec indicated: “This morning’s FBI raids are the worst thing to hit the Somali community since World War 11.”
Actor James Wood replied to Posobiec, chiming in: “If you don’t know the reference, brother-humping Somali grifter, Ilhan Omar, literally called World War II “World War 11 (Eleven)” during a press conference. And we thought simple accounting was her biggest intellectual challenge.”
